We will be holding a symposium for our members on Saturday 18th May at the grand and elegant 20 Cavendish Square, home to the Royal College of Nursing.

This spectacular venue is conveniently located near Oxford Circus and Bond Street underground stations. The symposium will take place over the course of the morning and afternoon in the Cowdray Hall and we will have the Council Room available to us for coffee and networking. Attendees will also enjoy a hot 3-course lunch.

This year's theme, 'Tomorrow's World', will explore cutting-edge medical therapies and the future of healthcare. Our keynote speaker, Professor Cathy Speed, Clinical Lead for the Consumer Health Research Team at Google, will delve into the critical nexus of technology and health in our AI-driven era, shedding light on the clinical imperatives that will shape our well-being.

Professor Cathy Speed is a renowned clinical academic specialist in Rheumatology and Sport & Exercise Medicine, with a focus on musculoskeletal healthcare and wellness. At Google, she leads the Consumer Health Research Team, leveraging sensor technologies to enhance health outcomes. She has significantly contributed to the field as a founding member of The Fortius Clinic and as a Professor of Human Performance. Her extensive experience encompasses clinical practice, education, and research, with a commitment to innovation and leadership in health technology and human performance.

Throughout her career, Prof. Cathy has been privileged to hold prominent roles in elite sports medicine, including Senior Physician at the English Institute of Sport, Chief Medical Officer to Olympic teams and Chief Medical Officer for elite cricket.
