Dr Javed Hussain is the Appraisal Committee Chair and Appraiser of GMC registered doctors for the Independent Doctors Federation (IDF). He is the Founder and Clinical Director of Neo-Derm Clinics in London and Manchester. He is a multi-award winning doctor renowned for his exceptional service and commitment to high technical and ethical standards in the aesthetics industry and brings a wealth of expertise in Botulinum toxins, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and non-surgical face and neck lifts. Dr Javed Hussain teaches at internationally renowned institutions in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia. As an International Key Opinion Leader for both Skin Tech® and Lutronic, he remains at the forefront of innovative and long-lasting aesthetic solutions. He is also a lead trainer in injectables, chemical peels, medical micro-needling, microsclerotherapy, and aesthetic skincare, equipping aspiring practitioners with the latest evidence-based techniques. In addition, as an IDF appraiser, Dr Javed Hussain plays a pivotal role in ensuring high standards of practice and professional development among independent doctors, contributing his expertise to a system recognised for its compliance and quality. To support newly qualified aesthetic practitioners who require more one-to-one mentoring and shadowing, Dr Javed Hussain runs a unique Medical Aesthetics Mentoring Programme in a live clinic setting, which is CPD certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer for HEAL Health. Dr. Javed Hussain completed his pre-clinical training at the University of St. Andrews in 2001 in Medical Sciences (Pathology) and subsequently completed his clinical training at the University of Manchester. He then went on to specialise in Dermatology and General Practice with a Special Interest in Dermatology in the North West. He is a full member of BCAM and was awarded MBCAM in 2021. He also gained membership of the British Society of Aesthetic Examiners and Assessors (BSAEA) in 2022. He was awarded Skin Tech Best International Key Opinion Leader for two years in a row - 2023 & 2024. He was also awarded Best International Aesthetic Research Presentation at Scientific Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (SAAM) Conference and Exhibition 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
