IDF Appraiser Review workshop

On Thursday 9th June 2022 the IDF held one of its annual Appraiser Review workshops. These run three times each year and IDF appraisers are required to attend one of them.  The workshop was held in person after being virtual for the last two years. 

The first part of the day was an interactive session by Practive which looked at how to have difficult conversations effectively. After a networking opportunity for appraisers at lunchtime, the second part of the day was an internal training session run by Dr Alexandra Harkins, IDF Responsible Officer and Emily Stephens, Revalidation Director. The session included sharing of good practice, case scenarios for discussion, planned changes for the updated IDF appraisal form and familiarisation with the new internal quality assurance document.
