Welcome Dr Laila Kaikavoosi

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Laila Kaikavoosi as chair of the Regulation Committee. 

Laila is a leading expert in the field of menopause, having compassionately assisted thousands of women in achieving optimal health and hormonal balance by offering them the most up to date, unbiased and individualised treatment options. Her years of experience and extensive post graduate training has given her a unique insight to the management of menopausal conditions.

In 2020, Laila founded the Online Menopause Centre (OMC), the UK's first CQC registered online menopause clinic. Laila's commitment to chairing the Regulation Committee stems from her personal journey in obtaining CQC registration for OMC. Laila began working on this in 2019 before the pandemic, and it took almost 1 year for her to obtain her CQC registration. At that time there were no menopause clinics registered to deliver care purely on an online platform which contributed to the many months of back and fourth emails with the CQC. She aspires to share her knowledge and ease the process for colleagues, drawing on her own experiences and learning during this intricate process.
